Understand is another word for Discipleship.
Discipleship is the term regularly used to describe the building up or strengthening of believers
in their quest to be like Christ. The scriptures are filled with commands to mature and grow up in the faith. In Hebrews 6:1 we are exhorted, “Let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity.” Discipleship
is a lifelong process that God uses to bring us to maturity in Christ. We provide several opportunities to help you become
a better disciple of Christ.
Every month, we hold a Super-Sunday where we offer Class 201, which teaches six spiritual H.A.B.I.T.S.
of a growing disciple. In this class, we provide you with the tools necessary to develop your spiritual H.A.B.I.T.S. We also offer a thing called “Bible Institute” which is a more in-depth
bible study for those who have a desire to grow in their faith. Sign up for our next Super-Sunday.
The following map is a visual aid to help you see where you are in your spiritual quest and to
help you to grow spiritually mature as you move from one commitment level to the next. Our Discipleship program is designed
for our students in the “Committed” commitment level.
